Kisumu -Simbi Nyaima-Odino Falls Lwanda Magere

After breakfast, leave the Kisumu and drive to Luanda Magere then head to Simbi Nyaima Lake. Legend has it that there once existed a community on the site. The village, however, disappeared in a violent storm when residents refused to shelter and feed an old woman who sought refuge there, creating a large depression that formed Lake Simbi Nyaima.Mythical as it is, geologists say it is a crater lake formed about six centuries ago as a result of earthquakes accompanied by volcanic eruptions. Lake Simbi Nyaima is a seasonal home of migrating flamingos. Simbi Nyaima in the local Luo language means the village that sank. It is actually a crater lake in which the community attaches great importance because of the legendary story surrounding it. Visit and listen to the heart rending story of the woman who visited this village looking for shelter and food. We will be entertained by the local luo traditional dancers for two days.

Natural Trail to Ndere Island - Lake Kanyaboli - Mama Sarah Obama's

Ndeere Island is a perfect spot for photography, camping, hiking and picnic events. There is also wildlife within the Island. The most common wildlife here is Zebra, Sitatunga and monkeys. Entry fee for the park is very affordable. At around 1000hrs: Arrive at Kaloka Beach and embark on boat ride to island Kaloka beach to connect your boat to Ndere Island the 4.2sq kms an Island just off the northern shores of Lake Victoria, opened in November 1986. The name Ndere means ‘Meeting Place’ in the dialect of the local Luo tribe.
